TIW’s Vendor Integration (VI) module allows Brokers to utilise data already captured in their Broking systems to populate the platform.
Vendor Integration to Back office systems – The key to Straight Through Processing
Data supplied by the Underwriter, such as a reference, is passed via the TIW platform through to the back office system, eliminating re-keying of data and the potential for errors and omissions.
VI facilitates the delivery of accounting, settlement and claims transactions to Bureau and Non-Bureau Carriers from Brokers and Cedents. It is made up of four separate message types:
The VI message is constructed as a single instance for each transaction, across all carriers, currencies and instalments, containing separate “Markets” for:
- ILU Carriers, each identified by an ILU Party Id
- LIRMA Carriers, each identified by a LIRMA Party Id
- Lloyd’s Carriers, each identified by a Lloyd’s Party Id
- Non-Bureau Carriers, each identified by a DUNS Party Id
Note: There are limitations in the messaging available for Bureau Markets
(a) ePremium only from Brokers and only in respect of transactions within the scope of the Xchanging eAccounts initiative
(b) eSettlement only in respect of ePremium messages previously processed
The suite is made up of the following components:
- TIW Vendor Integration Web Service
- TIW A&S Service
- Back Office Message Manager
Back Office Message Manager allows you to process ePremiums, eClaims, eTreaty and eSettlement.
